Kim's Family

                       Well...To some it may seem the impossible has been done! 
On June 16th, Frances SURPRISED her husband of 27 years with a 50th birthday party.  The party was wonderful!  To think she pulled this off and he had no idea is amazing to me.  Because if you know Rick, you know he is a "Take Charge" kind of person, involved in Any and Everything!  But that is just part of his loving personality.  Mom, my husband David, and myself traveled from Texas for this special event.  Robbie and Brenda came from Delaware, some of Frances family came from Ohio, there were co-workers, neighbors and friends.  The only thing missing... Frances should have had paramedics on stand by! :) The startled look on Rick's face when he came in the house and saw all of the people, then when he saw Momma, was unbelievable! Rick was in awe all night.

This was a definitely a memorable event!

Dwayne is now on a premiere soccer team in Delaware, they are called the Kirkwood Blaze.  He played in his first college showcase, and as usual showed his skills.  As long as he stays focused and keeps those grades up, he will be the total package and hopefully have several schools interested in him athletically as well as academically.  Hey Dwayne, Its Uncle Rob keep focused you only have 2 more years of school and then its on to college.  You know your family is in your corner.  Not to mention you have a younger brother and sister that need you to pave the way.  Take that pressure off your mom, she deserves it.

                                                                                     BACK TO SCHOOL IN TEXAS 

The kids have been in school for 3 weeks now. And they are all doing so well. Sydnee is a Sophomore this year. Jaylin is a 3rd grader. Jordan and Warren are both kindergartners (all day) at different schools. Warren wasn't too happy about Jordan not going to the same school as he and Jaylin. Here are a few pictures of them on their first day of school. Check out Sydnee's hair bow and her shoe's they match, too cute! Look closely at the picture of Jaylin by herself. There is a picture of her a baby sitting on the fireplace. I know I say this all the time but that little premautre baby is doing so well now. Jordan is happy that she has a few kids from pre-k in her class and that she has made new friends. Jordan is wearing the outfit that Grandma picked out. I'm going to have to stop taking mom shopping with us because they always agree. Here's to a great year for all the student's in the family!

                                                         OFF TO COLLEGE

On August 27, we took Spencer to college. By we I mean his parents, Sydnee, Grandma, Jordan and myself. I still can't believe he is old enough to be in college. I remember the day he was born. He is still just as sweet a young man as he was a baby. Even though I didn't give birth to him I felt like I was taking my child to college. He just knew I was going to be the one to cry and I did everything in my power not to. And it was hard. Boy, I don't think anyone at that college was as prepared as he was. His mother had any and everything you could think a college student would want or need. I think he could open a store with all the food she had for him. He wont stave that's for sure.

Spencer, I wish you the best in life. Your going to do great at school and whatever you want to do in life.
