FAMILY LOSS On December 12, 2011, Bruce's dad Andrew Cash passed away. I want to thank my parents, my sister's and my brother-in-laws for doing everything they could to help us throw this difficult time. They were all there for us from making sure we made it to Michigan to baking cookies for us to take on the trip and most important they were there for a shoulder to lean on for Bruce and myself. I was told by someone not to long ago that blood was thicker than water. I don't think that's always true after watching my family help Bruce during this time. Thank you to all that sent cards, to condolence on facebook. And a special thank you to Aunt Cookie for the beautiful letter you sent. And again thank you to my family for always being there for us. Rest in peach Andrew.
On January 17, 2012, Beulah Lett passed away. Beulah was 91 years young. I bet she is have a ball up in heaven with Victor and all her friends. Beulah and Dede (Geraldine Kersey) were the best of friends and cousins. I had a lot of good times at Beulah & Victor's house growing up with Shawn, Brian and Breicia. The time I just can't get out of my head is when Dede and Beulah went to a garage sale and brought Breicia a stroller for her newborn Ariel. Breicia refused to use the stroller (it was a very old and dirty one). Dede and Beulah keep telling her all she had to do was clean it up and it would be like new. She never did us it. But we had the biggest laugh. Rest in peace Beulah. |
