ROBERT KERSEY JR. by Brenda Pritchett
Rob is a Maryland Natural Resource Police Officer. He has been with the department for 18 years and was promoted to Lt. in Sept. of 2010, however the promotion ceremony was not held until May 2011. He is currently assigned to the Lower Eastern Shore as the Area Commander (3 counties, Wicomico, Worchester and Somerset). Rob recently testified before the House (HB396 house bill) and the
Senate (SB 414) and was instrumental in getting these bills passed based on his testimony. These Bills give his agency the authority to inspect commercial vessels, vehicles and businesses dealing in the commercial harvest of seafood without having to obtain a warrant. The Natural Resources Police is the oldest Law enforcement agency in the state of Maryland and is the primary Law enforcement agency for all state waters and state forest and parks. And is also the primary enforcer of all boating, fish and game regulations. |  |
THE DENEFIELD'S by Jennifer Denefield
May was a busy month for the Denefield's. Warren Jay celebrated his 5th birthday and Preschool graduation and Jaylin made her 1st Communion on May 7, 2011. She worked really hard learning about God and the Catholic faith. Family and close friends attended the ceremony and the celebration at the restaurant afterward. Jaylin loved her cake and all the roses on the cake. Warren Jay graduated from preschool. Half the ceremony was in Spanish and the other half in English. Both celebrations were great. Jaylin was promoted to 3rd grade and Warren Jay will start Kindergarten next year...Watch out School :) I am so proud and blessed to have two wonderful children.

SPENCER AVERY HOGAN by Michelle Hogan
On June 4, our son, Spencer Avery Hogan graduated fromClear Springs High School in League City, Texas. We were blessed to have his Uncle Rick, Aunt Frances, Uncle Robbie, Aunt Brenda and Aunt Simmie all travel from the east coast to attend the graduation ceremony. Spencer had rows of family and friends that live locally attended the ceremony. On Saturday, June 6th we hosted a celebration at our home and had well over 75 family and friends in attendance. There were people that came to wish him well that met Spencer when he was a baby through the present. Some of you were not able to attend but may have sent cards, well wishes and/or prayers and we would like to thank all of you as our son begins his new journey. Spencer will be attending Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas studying Kinesiology.

JORDAN by her proud mommy
Well it's official I'm the mother of a Kindergartner!!! Jordan has successfully completed Pre-K with very high marks. She has learned so much this year and has grown even more independent (I'm still not sure
about this independent thing, I want to keep her a baby but she isn't having it). Bruce and I are very proud of her. I have included some pictures of Jordan in her first pair of high heels (Her friends mom brought them for her). The way she walked in them you would have thought she had been wearing them for years. WELCOMING NEW FAMILY I would to introduce Matthew Searcy, the son of DeAndre Searcy. He is the first grandchild of Shantay Johnson and the first nephew of Sharrece Searcy. Matthew was born on May 19, 2011. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long. Congratualtions to you all and welcome Matthew.  |
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY 2011 Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dad's in our family. You don't have to be someones biology dad to be a dad to someone. You just have to show you care and love that person. So we have a ton of dad's in our family. But you all know by now that I have the best dad in the world. He still does his best to make sure that things are right for me and my siblings. I wonder how old you have to be before they stop worrying about you? Jordan just informed me that her daddy is the best daddy in the world. She loves her daddy because of all the things he does with her like coloring, planting tomatoes outside in the Texas heat, teaching her how to ride her bike. She said he is the best cook. And she loves her Papa, Grandpa Andrew and Grandpa George too. |
