Well summer vacation has started. The school year end on a very good note. Jordan received the "Good Citizen" award. We are so proud of her. I do believe she gets her kindness from me! She doesn't get letter grades yet but her marks were very good. Warren had a really fun kindergarten celebration. We should have made a video, he was singing and dancing his little heart out. Jaylin has had a great year, she is such a smart young lady. She has grown so much this year. Sydnee had great grades. And she has been excepted into the Culinary Arts Program for next year. So now we have two 1st graders, a 4th grader (Jaylin), a 11th grader (Sydnee) and a 2 year college student (Spencer). We are all very proud of all of you.

 I went up to Canada on Monday May 28 Uncle Lane came up and we had intentions of replacing the kitchen floor and taking in some golf. After surveying other issues in the cabin we decided to concentrate on the bathroom as it needed the most immediate attention. The floor had to be cut out as well as some of the damaged beams under the house. We had to actually raise the cabin underneath the bathroom to replace the supports underneath the house. We replaced the cast iron plumbing and rerouted with new plumbing. We decided to make 2 bathrooms instead of one big one so that everyone was not standing in line to use it in the mornings, we all know how that goes. I think everyone will be pleased with the original bathroom we replaced the toilet, sink, floor took out the window and added a ventilation unit. We wanted to add the wow factor and hopefully everyone will like it. Lane will be going back up to finish the painting and starting on the new bathroom that will be ready this fall. There are also plans to start on the kitchen floor and finish putting up the siding that will probably be a fall project so if anyone can help, it definitely would be appreciated. As you can see we brought our golf clubs up and had 2 tee times, but did not make them, we worked from sun up to sunset and went 2 days without a toilet. Uncle Lane took care of his business with an invention he made, I on the other hand went to the library to handle my business. When everyone is up for the reunion I will have all the pictures from the upgrades. And again thanks Uncle Lane, you are a surgeon with those hands.

Dwayne continues to be in good form in his soccer career. He plays on the U17 Kirkwood Blaze, he is a defender and scored his first goal last week. He went to Pittsburgh last month and played on the Kirkwood U18 team. He was asked to play with the U18 team for regional's, he is maintaining his focus in school so hopefully he will carry that on to college, there are so many choices out there for him.

Grant has really gotten in self into shape this year, his speed is back and his skills and footwork are second to none. He plays for the CDSA Rovers, and has recently moved up to Mid field, rarely being taken out of the game for rest. Looks like he is going to follow in his brothers foot steps, he has really impressed me this year.
