| HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Bruce and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on February 16, 2011. I still can't believe we have been married that long. I was always the person who never thought she would get married and now I’ve been married for 20 years to the best husband in the world. Bruce isn’t only my husband he’s my friend, someone that I can count on through thick and thin. He may drive me crazy at times but I know he is there for me no matter what. I love you Bruce. Here’s to another 20 years!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Ashok and Taunya (Richardson) Saini will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary on March 8, 2011. Rick and Frances Spencer will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary on March 17, 2011. France you have been married to my brother for 27 years, how did you do it? It must be love or drugs. Congratulations to both couples. |
Project Graduation’s Senior Serve
Spencer’s graduation from high school is getting closer and there are more and more graduation events than ever. Last month he participated in Project Graduation’s Senior Serve. Project Graduation is a great event held the night of graduation for all of the graduating students to gather in one location, fellowship, eat, win great prizes and most importantly be safe and off the streets. Senior serve is a fundraiser to gather donations for that night. The senior class serve as waiters and entertainment. It was held at his high school and each senior participating was responsible for decorating their guest tables (of course, he didn’t decorate the tables, I took that over).
Spencer’s family and friends supported him by purchasing tickets for the event, tipping him as a server and participating in the silent auction. Spencer had the largest participation of all the seniors with 4 tables of 8 people at $25 per person. His Aunt Simmie (David’s sister) came from Severn, Maryland. All of his grandparents were in attendance. He also had great-aunts, a great-uncle, aunts, an uncle, cousins and close family friends that came out to support him, some driving over an hour to be there.
The senior class of 2011 showed up and showed out. All of the servers were attentive, making sure drinks were filled and food was served in a timely manner and tables cleaned in an orderly fashion. The senior culinary arts student made dessert. The senior students told a little about themselves and their future plans. Then they put on a fashion show!
This was Spencer’s time to show out!
(Notice that Spencer and his escort keep looking to the right where his family and friends are sitting! His sister, Sydnee, affectionately call them the Black Ken and Barbie!) J
WATCH OUT NOW!
The State of Texas has given
Sydnee Hogan
Permission to drive a motor vehicle! J
Congratulations Baby!

UPDATE ON THE TEXAS KIDS I can’t believe that Sydnee is old enough to drive a real car now! I remember when she was such a cute little baby. Now she is such a cute young lady. Spencer is getting ready to graduate from high school in a couple of months and then head off to college (WOW). Jaylin will be 8 years old in a couple of weeks. This is the little girls that was so small when she was born they didn’t know if she would survive. Warren and Jordan are both doing great in pre-k; they will start all day kindergarten in August. Everyone is growing up so fast.

That's if for now. Talk to you next month or the month after.
Love you all,
