                                                                 FAMILY TIME

There is nothing better than spending time with your family. We all got together again this year to cut down our Christmas tree. It was my first time riding in the car with Spencer driving. And boy was I nervous but he is really a good driver (thank goodness). We picked a pretty good day because it was actually cold. Not as cold as when we lived in Michigan and went to cut down a tree but cold enough for jackets. The kids love going because they can run around the farm and play. After playing it's time for work, this year Jordan cut down our tree and Warren and Jaylin help pull their tree to the front. This is a family tradition that mom and dad started with us when we were kids. I hope it's a tradition that the kids do with their kids when that time comes. I have been blessed with a wonderful family. Love you all!!     

                                              MOTHER AND DAUGHTER VACATION

Aunt Betty and daughter Keisha Kersey spent the week of July 4th exploring the rain forests and beaches of Costa Rica.  The first part of the trip was to the Arenal Volcano region, where we stayed at the Hotel Linda Vista.  The views of the rain forest and volcano were breathtaking and of course so was the free breakfast which included plantains, rice and beans, and the best coffee in the world each morning.

                                                NEPHEW, NIECES AND GREAT-NIECES

I just had to show the off littlest family members. Of course they are so cute. First we have Claire, she is the daughter of my nephew Richard and his fiance Shannon. Claire will be 2 on April 13, 2013. Next is Maleyah, she is the daughter of my niece Raychel. Maleyah will be 1 on January 16, 2013. And then there is Malina, she is the daughter of my niece Ashley and her boyfriend Robert. Malina will be 1 on April 9, 2013. Aren't they cut?

                                       DECEMBER & JANUARY BIRTHDAY'S IN TEXAS

Jordan celebrated her birthday early. She had her birthday party on December 22, with her friends and family there to help celebrate. This year she had a bounce that also had a slide. The kids loved it!! Next it was mom's birthday on January 3 and we all went over to spend sometime with her. I have to say my mom is the most beautiful 73 year old I have ever seen. Below is a picture of everyone singing happy birthday. The next picture is of the cake Jenny made. It was a warm cake that had pudding in it. It was so warm it melted the candles! It may have had some candle wax in but it didn't matter to mom, she just enjoyed having us over. The next day it was Sydnee's 17th birthday. And we all went over to sing happy birthday to Sydnee.

                                                                                                        SYDNEE HOGAN

Sydnee celebrated her 17th birthday on Friday January 4th and then she went to her first formal dance on Sunday. She is growing up so fast. I remember the day she was born, now she is going to formal dances. I don't like how fast the kids are growing up. I want them to stay little, but I know that's not going to happen. And I do have to say she looked so beautiful. The young lady in the last picture with Sydnee is her friend Mariah. She is also in the picture above.
