NEW FAMILY MEMBER Here is Corey Demontrell Craig Jr. He is the son of Sharrece Searcy and the 2nd grandson of Shantay Johnson. He was born on July 4, 2011 and weighted 4lbs, 12oz. He is 3 months old in this picture. Sorry it to me so long to introduce him. 
PRAYERS NEEDED PLEASE Please keep Thomas Battle in your prayers he is recovering from major surgery. Please keep Bruce's dad Andrew Cash in your prayers he has lung cancer and a tumor on his brain. Also keep Bruce in your prayers so that he can handle what may come with his dad's illness. |
BRUCE'S SURPRISE 50TH PARTY
Bruce celebrated his 50th birthday on October 6 and on October 8 we surprised him with a party. He had no ideal and was totally shocked. The day started out with him going to get his hair cut. And on the way home the truck broke down. Not a good thing to happen when you have your 5 year old with you. Thank goodness David went to pick him up and keep him busy for the rest of the day (this was after he spent most of the night before cooking all the meet for the party). When David brought him home and he saw the cars in the drive way he still had no ideal what was going on. When he walked in and we all said surprise he couldn't believe it. It was a great evening with family and friends. His mom told me that he had never had a birthday party where you invite friends over so this was his first big birthday party. We have had get togethers for him in the past with the family but nothing like this. And as most of you know our nephew Spencer was born on the same day and since his birth they have celebrated together in someway. The surprise party was no different. Bruce would not blow out his candles until Spencer was right by his side. But to Spencer's surprise he has his own birthday cake. Bruce's birthday cake read "Mr. October 2011- The Hunkalisious Over the Hill 50th Edition". Spencer's cake read "Mr. October Runner- Up 2011- The Hunkalisious 18th Edition".So we celebrated Bruce's 50th birthday and Spencer's 18th birthday.
I have to say thank to Jenny, Michelle, David, Mom and Dad for all the help with the party. If it wasn't for them it would not have happen. I can't say thank you enough. Thank you Sydnee and Spencer for helping with the little one's on that day (especially Sydnee, who gave bath's and comb hair). Thank you Jordan for keeping a secret from your dad. Bruce will never forget that day and he is so grateful for the love you all show him. What a wonderful family that we have been blessed with. Again thank you all.
WARREN'S FIRST KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
Warren Denefield had his first kindergarten program on October 13, 2011. And of course he was great. Aunt Michelle took more picture's then the law should allow. But when it comes to her niece's and nephew's she can't help herself. Sorry the picture are a little dark, but he is the one in the plaid shirt on the front row. Of course he is the cutest one there!!

OCTOBER 2011
I just had to share some pictures. The first picture is Jordan on crazy hat day at school during drug free week. She is wearing her great grandmother's (Dede) hat. Dede would be proud to see her great granddaughter in her hat. The second picture is Jordan on crazy sock day. She made her socks herself. The next group of pictures are the kids on Halloween. We had a blue zebra (Jordan), a pink zebra (Jaylin) and one of the Wiggles (Warren). Jenny made Warren's costume this year. She did a great job but don't tell her. Of course when the kids went to Aunt T'Shell's house she gave them the biggest candy bars on earth. She also feed them pizza. She sure knows how to spoil them. The last picture is of Jordan in her Hawaiian outfit that grandma brought her back from her trip.
