WELCOMING NEW LIFE
I would like to announce the birth of my great niece, Claire Nacole Spencer. Claire was born on April 13, 2011 to Richard Spencer II and Shannon Owen. Claire is the first grandchild of Rick and Frances Spencer and the first great grandchild of Nate and Dianna Spencer. Claire weighed 9 pounds and 13 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She has red hair like her daddy and grandfather had when they were born. And of course she is so cute. She can't help it!

SPENCER'S PROM 2011
Spencer went to his Senior prom on April 16,2011. He looked so handsome. His date my look familiar if you saw the February-March newsletter. Her name is Mikea. Sydnee calls them the black Barbie and Ken. I think Mr. Laid-back was a little nervous, because of course we all showed up at his house while he got dressed then we all went to Mikea's house. It's a lot different when a boy goes to the prom then a girl. He didn't want anyone to fuss over him. I have to say this, I remember the day Spencer was born and now he will graduate from high school in a couple of weeks. My goodness time really does go by fast.

JAYLIN'S 8TH AND WARREN'S 5TH BIRTHDAY
I forgot to included some pictures from Jaylin's birthday, so here they are. Jaylin was so excited that we all came over. That Saturday Jenny took the kids plus some friends and a couple of Jaylin's classmates to see the move Hop. That was fun.
Our young man Warren marked his 5th birthday with a party at Fun Max. This was the perfect place for him. He could jump all over the place and climb. It was a pretty nice place, they even had a room that was for adult's only and they could look out and see the kids and watch tv at the same time. Warren was blessed to have his parents, sister, cousin's, Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Shell, Aunt Kim, Uncle Bruce and a few friends there to enjoy the day with him.

ARIEL LETT'S COLLEGE GRADUATION Ariel Tai Ryan Nicholas Lett graduated from Northwood University on April 30, 2011. He received a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. In the fall he will attend the Law School at Michigan State will a full scholarship. He was blessed to have 2 great grandmother's at his graduation along with his grandparents, his uncle, his mom and a few cousins. Congratulations Ariel!!  |  |
ALEESE HORNE'S COLLEGE GRADUATION by Janine Amadi
Aleese Horne, daughter of Janine Amadi, granddaughter of Pat & Paul Woods, great-granddaughter of Rolanda Hudson graduated on May 7, 2011 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts.
Her college career has been filled with life lessons, wonderful opportunities, 2 internships and loads of fun friends and memories!
Aleese was an intern at Disney World for 1 semester where she fell in LOVE with everything Disney and met many great friends.
Recently, Aleese returned from New York City where she completed a semester long internship at MTV. She worked very hard and made many contacts.
Aleese plans to celebrate her graduation with an Open House in May and then apply for jobs in New York!
