PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS

Please keep Jerry Davis and his family in your prayers. He was in a car accident last month. He is doing better but he is still recovering at St. Joseph’s hospital in Ypsilanti.

Also keep Betty Stevens (Aunt Bet) in your prayers; she is also in the hospital. She hopes to go come in a couple of days.

                                                                                                   FAMILY

Spencer went to his first formal dance, Clear Springs High School Winter Ball.  It was a very exciting day.  Spencer's best friend Lexton came over to our house with his parents and we all joked and laughed together as we took pictures of our sons!  Then off to his friend Hasana's house to drop off Spencer.  Although Spencer has his license and he could drive, Hasana's mother opted to drive the young people.  Hasana has a twin sister Rosana that also went to the dance. Spencer said he had a great time at the ball.

Sydnee started the new year celebrating her 14th birthday with her grandma.  Grandma's birthday is on the 3rd of January and Sydnee's on the 4th of January.  When David and I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday she said "I want all of my family to come over".  To be honest my thought was oh, my God!  All of the family.  This was Friday, the 1st and if we were going to do this, we needed to do this the next day!  Of course her Daddy said "no problem baby". Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends  came by and she (we) had a good time.  We had a house full and plenty of food. When it was time to eat Sydnee wanted to say grace...she thanked God for her family and for the great food prepared.  Her day went on to receive lots of love from her younger cousins, a birthday spanking from her brothers (Spencer and Lexton), and cousin Kennedi and all the chocolate a girl could ever want!

2009 went out with the proud moment of seeing our son going to his first formal dance and watching him as he matures into a fine young gentleman. And 2010 comes in with another proud moment of our daughter expressing how important family is to her and giving thanks to God for what she has!

All I can say is Wow!!!
Proud Mom (Michelle) and Dad (David)

Alright now for Aunt Kim's two cent!! Isn't my nephew handsome? Yes he is. Spencer decided not to tell his Aunt Kim about this evening until he was already at the dance. He thought I would act up and his was probably right. Spencer is now 16 years old and I want him to stay a baby but I know he has to grow up. I don’t think any girl is ever going to be good enough for him but as long as she treats him right, I will not have to hurt her. I told him that if I had to spend the night next year for prom I would be right there to watch him get ready. Spencer I promise not to act up. Jordan thought that Spencer got married because of the tux. After I explained that he didn’t, I asked her if she thought his friend was cute. She told me no. I don’t think she wants to share Spencer with anyone, just like her mom. The next set of pictures is from Sydnee's birthday party.

                                                  THANK YOU

I want to thank everyone for looking for the Zhu Zhu pets for Jordan. Thank you Uncle Rick for founding them in Virginia and shipping them to us. Jordan was so happy to open up her hamsters. I had the hardest time putting the toys together, thank goodness for Bruce. I keep thinking back to when we where little and picturing my parents putting toys together after a few drinks. Maybe it would have worked better after a drink or two.The 2nd picture is the set all put  together. That's the family on Christmas day at Jen's house. The last picture is of Jordan and cousin's at her birthday party. Our family makes sure that Jordan has Christmas presents and the next day she has birthday presents. That's a lot. We are so blessed to have each other in our lifes.

Well that's it for this month. Talk to you all next month. Don't forget to send me something to share with the rest of the family. Please let me know if you have trouble viewing the pictures. I may have to go back to the old way.

Love, Kim
