MSWALK 2010
The MS walk was held on November 6 this year. I am so proud of my family for coming together yet again. Michelle and Sydnee have been on the Walk committee for about 9 years so far. This summer Michelle asked me to join, so I did. The MS society is very important to Michelle. Even though it was in the 40's we had a group out there. Mom, dad, Bruce, Jordan, Sydnee and Michelle's niece Tutu. Jenny was nice enough to be the nurse on duty, just in case someone got hurt. Bruce and my dad did the 5K walk (3.2 miles), Jordan was right there with them. She walked 1 mile and rode on her dad's shoulder's for 1 mile. Mom and Sydnee walked the 1 mile. After the walk Bruce, Jordan, Sydnee, Tutu and myself help clean thing up. I was so proud of my 4 1/2 year old, she was carring sandbags (as far as she could), picking up fences and cooler's. And helping me with my job at the muffin & juice table earlier. She was so eager to help. She really suprised me because at home she doesn't like to pick up her own toys, but she was welling to do anything to help. Everyone just pictched in where ever they were need.
THANKSGIVING 2010
This year the Cash family spent Thanksgiving in Michigan. We had a great time. The only problem with that is with Bruce and I both being from Michigan we both have family that we want to see. So I'm grateful for the one's we did see and I hope we will be able to see more the next time we come up. Or to solve that problem you can all come here to Texas and visit. Bruce was able to see some cousin's he hadn't seen in 20 years. Jordan was able to final meet one of Bruce's brother's and a cousin. Bruce's mom cooked a big dinner and she made me my own cheese cake from scratch with raspberry topping. Oh it was SO good. She also made homemade pumpkin pies. Jordan couldn't wait to try those. I told her before we left home that we ate sweet potatoe pies not pumpkin. I also told her that only white people ate pumpkin pies. I told her that I had never had pumpkin pie before. I have to say that my mom corrected me when I got home and told me that I have eaten pumpkin pie before that Dede use to make them.
On our way up to and home from Michigan we spent the night with some special friends that live in Illinois. We haven't seen Mike, Melissa and the kids in about 7 years, since we all moved from Virginia. It was so nice to see them and spend some time with them. And see how their kids have grown. They all feel in love with Jordan and her with them. The big girls treated her like a big girl and they let her hang out with them. She had such a good time that she asked if she could go back every weekend. Since we live 12 hours away that's not going to happen. We hope they will come this summer to visit us.
All in all we had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Picture 1: Jordan on the way up to Michigan. 2: Bruce and Jordan at the Dexter Cider Mill. Both had their cider and Jordan had a bag of fresh baked goodies. The cider was so good we had to go back in and get more to bring home. 3 &4: Jordan clowning around at Frankenmuth. 5: Jordan and bella (Melissa & Mike's dog), if she had her way bella would have been in the car with us going home. 6: Jordan with Jessica, Jared and Makayla in Illinois.
CHRISTMAS TREE TIME
This year we didn't all get to go together to cut down our tree's like in the past. This year it was mom, dad, Michelle, Sydnee, Jenny, Jaylin and Warren. They had a fun time, but I'm sure they missed their favorite person in the world ME. Check out the 3rd and 4th pictures. The 4th picture answer's why Jenny is walking into the woods. If you look hard enough you might be able to see the wild child in picture 3.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE LANE
I just had to send a special happy birthday to one of my favorite uncles. You have always had a special place in my heart and now it looks like you have a special place in my daughter’s heart. Thank you for being a great uncle to me and the rest of your nieces and nephews. And I’m sure mom and Aunt Paulette would want me to say thanks for being a great little brother. Love you.

I had to share this picture. Please don't kill me. The 2nd picture was taken after Uncle Lane and Aunt Val gave Jordan the big dog. Her name is Diamond like their real dog Diamond. |
HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY JORDAN
I can’t believe that my baby will be 5 on the 26th. Time really does fly. She has become such a big girl now. Bruce and I are truly blessed to have her in our lives. We waited so long to have a family and God sent the prefect child to us. I’m not going to make this too sappy. But life is wonderful; I’m not saying we don’t have our ups and downs because we do. But I can’t imagine our lives without her. I hope that we are raising her to be a wonderful adult. She already has a heart of gold. She got that from her daddy (don’t tell him that, his head is already big). I'm not sure what she gets from me, maybe the attitude!
Jordan is doing so well in school, she loves it. She can now write her name. School is going even better now that she has her glasses. I’m grateful that her school gives the students eye exams. Because we didn’t know she was having a hard time seeing. She has only had her glasses for a couple of weeks and we are still getting use to them.
I'm excited to watch her grow and become the person she is meant to be.
Well Happy Birthday my sweet Jordan. We all love you so much.
From that sweet baby to this sweet little girl. She was 7 month old in the first picture, at the Richardson family reunion in Canada. The 2nd picture was from a couple of days ago.
