| SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PRESENT Well, last month I wrote about my grandson, now this month I am writing about my awesome children. As you know, I had my 65th birthday this month, but as usual my allergies run a muck and I have to wait to celebrate because I'm under the weather. This year it was well worth the wait. My children presented me with an all expense weekend to Dallas. I got to see my favorite Cowboys at the new stadium. I had a personal guided tour of the facilities, and yes, people-- don't hate, I got to shake hands and talk to my friend, Jerry Jones before the game. My traveling companion, Keisha, who won by default because Rob was not able to travel, snapped the picture of Jerry and left me out. You know she is fired. We were positioned where the team comes out onto the field. I have pics, but no one has shown me how to download or upload whichever it might be. I'm hoping that this will be an annual Birthday event for me. I am still on a cloud. This was truly one of the best birthdays that I can recall, and I remember most of them.

THANKSGIVING 2009 AT THE CASH'S
This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at our house. It was my first time doing the turkey. Thank goodness for mom who came over the day before and cleaned it out and seasoned it up. All I did was put it in the oven. It turned really out good, we used a lemon from mom's tree (check out the pictures below). I love the last picutre of Jordan and mom. The way Jordan is looking at her grandmother reminds me of the love I had for my grandmother. Boy I miss those times. We spent a quite day together. The guys watching football, the little kids playing together and the woman doing all the work (checking out what was on sale the next day). Jaylin learned about cornucopia's this year in school, so grandma made sure that she found everything so that she could have her own cornucopia. She was so excited when she came in and saw it. Jaylin, Warren and their grandfather ate the fruit out of it.The last picture is of Michelle, Matt (our cousin from Virginia), Spencer, mom and Jordan playing boggle.

CHRISTMAS TREE
This year we all went and cut down our Christmas trees that Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was Matt's first time so we had him and Spencer cutting down all 4 trees. Jordan wanted to take her scissors and cut down the tree. After cutting down the tree we went for lunch. It's always nice when we can all get together. The only problem was that I had to ride in the car with the 3 little ones and their grandparents. Of course they had to have snacks and that me giving them out and everyone telling me what they wanted. The kids talked and played the whole time. They keep telling their grandfather how to drive (hurry up papa, slow down papa). I do believe that next year Jenny will be riding with the kids and their grandparents.
